Oxidase reagent

Oxidase Reagent is used to detect the presence of oxidase enzymes produced by a variety of bacteria. The oxidase test is based on bacterial production of an intracellular oxidase enzyme and some organisms may produce more than one type of oxidase enzyme. Powder is TMPD-HCl, 99% Packing : 0.05g x 50 vials.
Direction for use: Addition of 5ml of distilled water in each tube before use is required.To prevent oxidase reagent from auto-oxidation too quickly add 10mg-30mg of ascorbic acid per 100ml distilled water and then add to oxidase powder.
