Edta gel

EDTA gel (19%) is used in dentistry to remove the smear layer from root canal walls and to demineralize dentin particles:
Root canal treatment: EDTA gel is a chelating agent that inactivates calcium ions, which decalcifies dentin. This allows for the removal of dentin mud and scrapings.
Root canal irrigation: EDTA gel is used to irrigate and disinfect root canals.
Chemical widening: EDTA gel softens the dentinal walls of the root canal, which allows for easy mechanical widening.
Instrument lubrication: EDTA gel can be used to lubricate instruments. Available in both tube (60g) and syringe form (5g)
